The college plans to launch its first cut-off on October 1 to accommodate college students who’re showing for enchancment or compartment exams, they added.
Professor Rajeev Gupta, chairman of the college’s admission committee mentioned, “We will finalise the cut-off schedule very soon. October 1 is a tentative date for the first cut-off. We plan to release the cut-off on that day. We will be holding meetings with college principals and nodal officers to finalise the schedule.”
He mentioned they plan to launch a cut-off schedule for not less than 5 cut-offs by subsequent week.
A university principal, requesting anonymity, mentioned they’ve began holding conferences at their degree to analyse the cut-off development.
Another principal mentioned they’re but to obtain the information of functions from the college and can resolve accordingly.
Most of the principals have been unanimous in saying that the cut-offs are going to be larger this time, with extra college students scoring above 95 per cent this 12 months within the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Board exams.
Over 2.87 lakh college students have utilized for Delhi University’s undergraduate programs, down from 3.53 lakh functions final 12 months, with the utmost aspirants from CBSE.
Over 2.29 lakh candidates are from CBSE-affiliated colleges, adopted by Board of School Education Haryana (9,918), Council for the Indian School Certification Examination (9,659) and UP Board of High School and Intermediate Education (8,007).
