Mumbai Indians batsman Suryakumar Yadav expressed his happiness over becoming a member of the coaching periods forward of the second leg of IPL 2021 within the UAE. Yadav, together with captain Rohit Sharma and pacer Jasprit Bumrah joined the apply periods after finishing the six-day resort quarantine.

In the primary half of IPL 2021, Yadav scored 173 runs in seven matches at a mean of 24.71 and strike fee of 144.16.
