Nagaland Legislators Rename Opposition-less Govt As United Democratic Alliance


Kohima, Sep 18: Leaders of political events in Nagaland on Saturday determined to rechristen the state’s opposition-less authorities because the United Democratic Alliance (UDA). The nomenclature was unanimously authorized at a joint consultative assembly of legislators right here, authorities spokesperson Neiba Kronu stated.

Opposition Naga People’s Front (NPF) was inducted into the state authorities on August 16 by the ruling coalition of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP), the BJP and Independent MLAs. UDA was earlier generally known as Nagaland United Government.
