 To a bid to advertise entrepreneurship amongst college students, 5 vocational and three certificates programs have been launched at Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, at this time by the Vice-Chancellor(VC) Dr Parvinder Kaushal.

 The new programs are part of Indian Council of Agriculture Research’s National Agricultural Higher Education Project’s, Institutional Development Plan(IDP) being carried out by the college.

Vocational programs on medicinal vegetation, nursery manufacturing of temperate fruits, apiculture, mushroom cultivation and flowers and value-additionare among the many new programs. Certificate course on proficiency in English, presentation abilities and Savoir-Faire: Speak and Act Appropriately throughout social gatherings have been additionally launched at this time.

 VC Dr Kaushal mentioned these programs will improve the data and abilities of trainees on numerous facets. He urged the scholars to undertake entrepeneurship and utilise authorities schemes.
