The Economics Society, Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) is organising a National Economics Olympiad (NEO) for the scholars of courses 11 and 12 in partnership with Vedantu. Interested candidates can apply by October 15 by paying a registration price of Rs 200. However, to encourage extra participation, an early-bird supply for Rs 180 is on the market. This supply is legitimate until September 25.
NEO goals to offer a platform for college kids to check the applicability of their information with sensible inputs. The high three contributors from every class can be awarded cumulative money scholarships price Rs 65,000 and all contributors will get a certificates. The olympiad is organised by The Economics Society, SRCC in collaboration with Vedantu.
To choose the candidates, there can be two rounds to be held on October 17 and 24 respectively. The preliminary spherical could have 4 sections specifically financial ideas, logical reasoning, case research, and knowledge interpretation with 10 questions every. Each query will carry one mark and there can be no damaging marking on this spherical. The last spherical is a shock spherical, particulars of which can be shared solely on the time of the check.
The syllabus and design of the olympiad have been structured in a method to assist the scholar of their examination preparations, says SRCC. The college students will obtain a pattern questions booklet, consisting of previous NEO papers and over 150 new questions for his or her preparation and a complete efficiency evaluation report publish the Olympiad, enabling college students to guage themselves on a nationwide scale.
To encourage college students from underprivileged sections of the society, SRCC is providing partial and full monetary help to make sure higher alternatives for college kids, no matter their constraints. “Through the olympiad, college students will get an opportunity to check their acumen and broaden their understanding of economics when it comes to its software in the actual world,” adds the society.
The National Economics Olympiad 2020 had received over 6000 participants from across 1200 schools and 400 cities, across 10 countries.
