Blonde's first look has just been released on Netflix, and it's a strange one. Marilyn Monroe is originally presented

as a sobbing bundle of anxieties in this new teaser trailer for the Andrew Dominik-directed film starring Ana de Armas as the

Hollywood legend, begging that some unknown "she" won't desert her. We know who Monroe has been waiting for

as her make-up is applied and she transforms into a smiling, brilliant celebrity. Blonde, based on the novel by Joyce Carol Oates

was written and directed by Dominik, and it combines reality and fiction to reinvent the life of the famous Hollywood star

probing the rift between Monroe's public and private personas. Adrien Brody, Bobby Cannavale, Caspar Phillipson, Evan Williams

Toby Huss, Julianne Nicholson, Lily Fisher, Sara Paxton, David  Warshofsky, Xavier Samuel, Michael Masini, Spencer Garrett, Chris Lemmon

Rebecca Wisocky, Scoot McNairy, Dan Butler, Garret Dillahunt, Lucy Devito, and Ned Bellamy are among the cast members

in addition to de Armas. Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, Tracey Landon, and Scott Robertson are the producers

with Christina Oh serving as Executive Producer. Blonde will be available on Netflix worldwide on September 23.
