Goodwood Festival of speed - Yesterday was the official start of the Goodwood 2022 Festival of Speed

presented by Mastercard. We braved the drizzle to enjoy a fun-filled day of racing, drifting, and rally action on the Hill.

Conventional auto shows have steadily lost popularity, mainly because many think they are excessively static. The

Goodwood Celebration of Speed, as its name suggests, is a festival that honours the automobile rather than an

actual auto show. Recent iterations, however, have demonstrated how an increasing number of automakers select

to reveal new models to the public at the lovely venue in West Sussex. The Duke of Richmond drove the BMW

M3 Touring to open the Hill for the day's driving action, marking the vehicle's unique global debut. Along for the ride

was the CEO of BMW M, and it's safe to say that the Duke drove the M3 at top speed. He was beaming as he

slithered off the starting line and climbed the Hill past cheering  spectators. The weekend's events got off to a fantastic start.
