KBO League Juan Lagares, a free agent outfielder, has signed with SSG Landers of Korea Baseball Organization.

For the rest of the season, the client of ACES will receive $495K. Lagares has been a member of the affiliated ranks

for 16 years and this will be his first professional trip outside North America. Lagares, 33 years old, has played

in 850 games for the Angels and Mets in major leagues. He was a Gold Glove-caliber center fielder in his early career

and earned regular playing time because of the strength of his glove during a large portion of his stint in Queens.

Lagares has been a solid outfielder at the majors for the past few years. His defensive metrics have declined and he has

posted below-average plate numbers in both of the last two seasons. Through 327 plate appearances, Lagares clocked.

236/.266/.372 last year. In May, he was given a second look at the big leagues after he signed a minor league

contract. The Angels assigned him to assignment after a disappointing 20-game performance. He cleared waivers

and was granted free agency. He'll be joining the Landers team with the best record in the KBO (52-26).  For More you can visit--
