St Louis Cardinals The 2022 Major League Baseball season is halfway over and the St. Louis Cardinals are at the

top of the league in home attendance. However, ticket sales have fallen compared to previous seasons. The Cardinals

have been ranked No.1 in attendance at 40 of their 81 home games this year. Average attendance is 2nd in MLB

with 38,764 people per game. This year marks the first season since 2019 that the Cardinals have been able to operate

at Busch Stadium at its full capacity for the entire season. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there was a limited attendance

at the Cardinals' 2021 season. The 2020 MLB regular season was also staged without fans. The Cardinals' attendance

has fallen nearly 10% from the average of 42,967 people per game in 2019, according to preliminary figures.

Joe Strohm, the Vice President of Ticket Sales, said that the team is moving ahead of its initial projections. He noted

that fans are returning to the ballpark faster than expected due to the Covid-19 pandemic as well as the MLB work

stoppage. We are very happy with the level of attendance. Our fans consistently exceed our expectations.
