Toyota RAV4 Schubert Jonckheer & Kolbe LLP is pleased to provide the following critical updates to the
Toyota RAV4 fuel tank class action that was filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
The individual claims asserted by the thirty-nine named plaintiffs against defendant Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc.
in the case have now been settled, (2) Toyota RAV4 the Court has approved the parties' request to dismiss absent class
members claims without prejudice, and (3) if any individuals wish to pursue claims against Toyota regarding the
alleged RAV4 fuel tank defect, they should be aware that such claims are subject to a statute of limitations and that
they should co-operate with the parties. The lawsuit claimed that Toyota RAV4 Hybrid (model years 2019, 2020
and 2021) and Toyota RAV4 Prime (model year 2021) vehicles had a flaw that prevented them from accepting a full tank
of gas. In class actions against corporate defendants, Schubert Jonckheer & Kolbe represents shareholders,
employees and customers, as well as shareholders in derivative lawsuits against their officers and directors.
